Learn how to provide mental health first aid to work colleagues or other members of the community

Overview: The blended online MHFA Workplace Course has been adapted from the Standard Mental Health First Aid Course for adults to be delivered online.

In this informative and practical course, you will learn about the signs and symptoms of common and disabling mental health problems in adults, how to provide initial help, where and how to get professional help, what sort of help has been shown by research to be effective, and how to provide mental health first aid in a crisis situation using a practical, evidence-based action plan.

Training format: 100% online in a blended format.

Course Component 1 - A self-paced eLearning component (takes 5-7 hours to complete) - After confirming your booking we will send you a link for the self directed learning. This must be completed before the Course Component 2 session with the Instructor.

Course Component 2 - Join Master Instructor Sharon Orapeleng who will lead this component using Zoom (must attend two sessions of 2.5 hours) on 11 October 2024 from 9:30 am to 12pm then recommence same day at 12:30pm


Cost: $250 per person include both components

Location: Online training sessions via Zoom.

Time: Zoom classes will begin at 9:30am to 12pm then recommence same day at 12:30pm

Participants MUST complete the self directed learning and attend both Zoom facilitated sessions to be accredited.
